Hello to all of you who are actually checking our blog,

we are sorry we haven’t updated it for a while but we were busy actually doing the work on the project instead… What we did? Well, we are more or less finished with our report and prototype and now we are adding the final touches to be perfect :)    We worked really hard and we met every day so we can discuss where are we and what else we have to do. Now we are happy to announce that we did a great job and everything went as it was supposed to. On top of everything else we are now proud owners to and awesome group logo thanks to Bogdan :) We still have to think of how exactly are we going to present all the incredible work we have done next week but other than that the things are going pretty well.

Sooo, this is from us for now :)

A little update…

Today (Thursday, January 10 – 2008) Binkit group got together for the first time after a lovely christmas and New Years vacation. HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone… First we’d like to explain our blog name, so everyone understands the kreative side of our brilliant name… See… We are 4 fabulous members of Bink’ it… Bogdan, Iskra, Nina & Kasia = BINK, and since we are so fabulous, we’r IT! We are as simple as that; The Bink’ it’s…. ;)

Yir’ yir’… This is our fab group…..

Besides taking photo’s of ourselves, we had a very productive day… First we discussed what each member wrote in the vacation. In december before we left for our Christmas holidays, we shared the report-writing between us, so each person were able to use their vacation to think about the content of the report, and write some pages if they felt inspired. We all had some great stuff to share at our meeting today, we talked about it, and agreed to work on the report and make it finished for Tuesday. Some of our visual kreative work, were also presented to the group, and we all agree on our design and presentation.

Next group meeting is tomorrow at 12.00., after Bogdan, kasia & Iskra had their personal interviews with michael… (Nina already had her personal interview in december)… and we’ll talk some more about the report structure, our visual ‘non-functional’ prototypes, and where to get a huge cheap beer in the weekend…. ;)

Wednesday; Dec. 11 – where’s my Hat?

•December 11, 2007 • 1 Comment

Just a little update on what happened in class the last hour of this grey Wednesday afternoon….

We went through:

The Six Thinking Hats (Edward de Bono)

- A tool for brainstorming, group dynamics, damages control, etc.

Bobo and I had the pleasure of taking turns to wear the different colored hats, representing different feelings, while one wore a hat, talking about one’s feelings, the other wrote them down. This is what we got from the Hat-game so far:

White hat

BOGDAN:

-writing is a challange, but I’m looking forward to learn more.
-glad to work with two ‘former colleagues’.
-problem with programing
-I talk too much – needs someone to stop me – also conserning my stubborness.

Black hat

BOGDAN:
Not finishing project on time – because of Holidays
Not structuring the content of the report the right way
Arguments/catfights
not finishing individual tasks
not showing up for meetings
Problems with computers/saving documents etc.
naaaaah naaaaah……!!!!
Illness – if one teammember gets sick – getting that part finished

NINA:
-Everyone being able to manage each Individuals expectations

-Us not doing our individual tasks in the holidays
-Desagreement in sharing the tasks

So we’ll se each other on Thursday for our meeting with our Advisor – and to make a plan about sharing the report-tasks, AND finish our contract for friday… :)
